Clemans Hall
Clemans Hall is a four-story living community which houses males and females on alternating floors. Its small size helps create a close-knit environment, with an emphasis on community responsibility and cleanliness.
Clemans' Community Council holds a long tradition of spirit and involvement in Homecoming, Winter Carnival and campus organizations.
Recreation facilities include an exercise room, a large screen TV, pingpong and pool table.
Located in the center of campus and next to Reeve Union, Clemans Hall offers quick access to food, entertainment and student activity groups.

Completed in 1960, Clemans Hall is named for former physics instructor and University vice-president, Earl A. Clemans. Clemans graduated from the University of Michigan in 1901. Earl A. Clemans was an instructor of Agriculture and Physics at Oshkosh from 1906-1944 and was described as, "very popular and a fine gentleman." Clemans was a scholar who was very interested in the history of the school and in the education it provided. He was also a member of the Winnebago County Historical Society. |
