Polk Library
In addition to cataloging more than 135,000 books and other library materials, UW Oshkosh’s Polk Library provides the University community with access to a wide range of electronic information. Over 13,500 students come to use the library's resources during the 100 hours that Polk Library is open a week.
The new Polk 101 offers students a study space that combines the best of a traditional reference room with a comfortable, technology-rich environment ... and even a coffee cart.
Also included in this facility are a hands-on instruction lab, numerous regular classrooms, professor offices and the Area Research Center. Polk Library's basement features Testing Services, which administers computerized and traditional pen-and-paper tests, and the IDEA Lab, where students can check out various electronic equipment and print color copies.
